Valley Gardens

The Valley Gardens Harrogate are English Heritage Grade II Listed gardens situated in regal Low Harrogate, which along with woodland, are known as The Pinewoods cover 17 acres. Filled with colourful seasonal flower displays, crazy golf, boating pool, skate park, paddling pool and children's play area.

Royal Hall

This stunning Edwardian theatre is the jewel in Harrogate’s crown. We recommend visiting the Royal Hall during its open days where you can have a guided tour of the venue and learn about its rich history.

Knaresborough

Be sure to visit the market town Knaresborough when you stay, only a short 10-minute drive or train ride. Famous for Mother Shipton's Cave & Petrifying Well, the town has many hidden gems. A warren of medieval streets that weave their way up and down the hill, with Knaresborough Castle perched on the cliffs above the River Nidd. Perfect for a day of discovery.

Fountains Abbey

With the magnificent ruins of the once prosperous Fountains Abbey to explore and nearby stunning Georgian water garden, all set against the picturesque countryside - this World Heritage Site has everything you need for an enjoyable day outdoors.

 

Whittakers Distillery

A Yorkshire family run business, making the most delicious small-batch Whittakers Gin, in the Nidderdale countryside. The passionate team offer fantastic distillery tours, you get to learn all about their craft and sample their finest gin - or simply stop into the shop for a delicious (perfectly made) G&T!
